Goals & Strategies
Can coobi care help me set and achieve goals?
Yes. coobi care offers you a variety of exercises to develop goals and keep them in view. You create your own personal constellation of main goals and areas of life that will accompany you on your journey. You can also plan long- term goals. The app helps you to formulate these goals clearly, reflect on them regularly and integrate them into your everyday life. In addition, coobi care motivates you to set small daily goals for more structure, orientation and visible progress.
What strategies does coobi care offer?
coobi care provides a broad selection of strategies to support your path toward abstinence or controlled consumption. These include psychoeducational modules that offer insights into the background of addiction disorders, reflection exercises to strengthen your self-awareness, and breathing techniques for physical regulation. In moments of acute craving, a dedicated craving section offers targeted tools to help you regain control.
How does coobi care help me recognize my triggers?
coobi care analyzes your daily entries and measurement data to identify patterns and potential triggers. These can include hidden triggers such as emotions, lack of sleep, or stress. You can also add your own influencing factors during check-ins to get an even more complete picture. The trends section visualizes these connections and helps you better understand your behavior.
What are control days and consumption days?
The meaning of control days and consumption days depends on your personal goal. If your goal is full abstinence, control days are those when you remained abstinent. If youʼve entered this goal during onboarding or in the settings, theyʼll be labeled as abstinent days. If your goal is to reduce or regain control over your consumption, control days are those on which you may have consumed but stayed within the limits you set for yourself. Consumption days are the opposite: For abstinence goals, these are days you consumed. For reduction goals, theyʼre days when you exceeded your planned consumption.
How do streaks work in coobi care?
coobi care tracks two types of streaks: The Control day counter (or abstinence counter) counts how many consecutive days youʼve met your goal (either abstinence or controlled consumption). This streak resets only when you log a consumption day. If you miss a check-out, you can retroactively enter data the next time you log in to maintain your streak. You can also manually reset the streak whenever you want to mark a new beginning. The coobi streak shows how consistently you use the app. It stays active as long as you revisit the app and complete one activity daily.

Trends & Data Analysis
What data is shown in the “Trendsˮ section?
coobi care analyzes five core areas closely linked to addictive behavior: craving, stress, activity, mood, and sleep. Mood, craving, and sleep quality are recorded through your entries in the evening check-out. Your Garmin wearable provides additional physiological data relevant to coobi care. These include sleep parameters (e.g. duration, time of falling asleep and waking up, wake periods), activity data (e.g. steps, active minutes, sports minutes), and stress indicators (e.g. nighttime heart rate variability HRV, resting heart rate [rHR], minutes with elevated heart rate [stress duration]). These metrics help you understand how your physical state relates to your behavior and how you can respond to changes.
What do the colors of the bubbles mean?
The bubbles in the trends section give you an overview of how your current values are developing across the five key areas. Green indicates normal values, orange signals slight deviations, and red indicates significant deviations. Some bubbles, like steps or mood, are based on general reference values and are the same for all users. Others, such as heart rate variability or sleep patterns, are personalized and only turn orange or red if your values significantly differ from your personal norm. Clicking on a bubble gives you more detailed information on that parameter.
What do the green areas in the graphs indicate?
The green areas represent your individual normal range for this measurement based on the data from the past month. They help you identify when your current values fall outside your usual range. This allows coobi care to detect early anomalies and adjust its recommendations accordingly.
How are strategies selected based on my trends?
Based on your trends, coobi care suggests two strategies per day, which appear directly in your activities. These recommendations are derived from your physiological measurements and self-assessments and are designed to help you regain balance and avoid crises. You can also use the trends section to search for targeted strategies for specific areas you'd like to improve.
